These map are still being played for now, after these years, who is the best player on this map? We afraid there will be too much answer, so, we have "The King of Map".

TKOM is sponsored by Mr.Sun, and hosted by War3station, we hope we can find a best players on each map. This tournament will start at Oct 16th, the great players on the platform and the profession players will fight for the prizes and the title, The King of Map.

Why do you host this kind of tournament?
Maps are the one of most important element of Warcraft III, almost all the players and gamers have their own favorite map. We hope we can attract all the War3 lovers, audiences with having curiosity, gamers and players, and find the best player on each map together.


How about the format of TKOM?

Format: We have 3 races totally, and we play a race for each month, and the games is played with these maps.

The three maps are: EI(1v1), TR(2v2), LT(2v2)

Open audition: Open for application, BO1 and single elimination, the first eight players move forward to the Elimination.

Elimination: The first eight players will play with eight invited players, with single elimination, and the winner have to wait on the Arena as a former winner.

Arena Battle: The winner of month races will fight against the former winner on the arena with BO3, the winner of the last Arena Battle will be the champion, and get the title "The King of Map".

How much about the prizes?
Total prizes: RMB 100000

For Month audition:
First place: RMB 800
Second place: RMB 500

For Month race:
First place: RMB 3000
Second place: RMB 2000
Third place: RMB 1000

The best performance prize: RMB 500 (Voted by the audiences)


Why you choose only EI, TR, LT?
First, EI, TR, LT are the most popular maps in War3. These three maps are always be the first three maps on the platform of War3 like BN, NetEase, VS, 11, QQ, etc. These three maps are having great standing in War3 players and gamers.

For 1v1, TR and LT have some big uncertainties, like the starting position on TR, LT and really imbalance for UD and NE, but EI is more stable, one shop is good for Blade Master; expansion is good for HU; EI has no Zeppelin and Goblin Sappers, good for UD, and the timing is good for NE. So we let LT and TR as 2v2 maps.

On the other hand, the sponsor really love EI, so he hope he can find the best player on this map.


Can we see other maps in this tournament in the future?
As a host and sponsor, of course that we love to make this tournament to a big series games, and add special element for War3. If we host this game successfully, especially we have support from the audiences and players, of course there will be new "The King of Map", we hope we can see who are the King of Map of each map.


Will this format make the players feel troubled?
The great players have adapt the format with a lot of maps, this is the problem that we most worried. This tournament is host for lovers and gamers, so we are hard to take care about all the players.
