Double losses for Team RW, Infi is out from H&W.

In the games yesterday, the two players from Team RW, Infi and Life were defeated by their opponents separately. Yesterday, Infi was playing against eer0, and we might say eer0 was controlling the whole series. From Infi's opening, we could see that Infi was trying to stop eer0 expanding, however, eer0 knew it and changed his plan. After the changing of eer0, Infi was having bad opening in these two games, and eer0 got an easy win against Infi with 2-0.


We had Life vs Moon for the second match yesterday, and this series was telling us that how important the  experiences are in Warcraft III. In the first game on Amazonia, Life was having advantage on technology in the mid-game, he was leading on the upgrades of Attack and Armor. However, Life was too eager to attack, and he went to Moon's base to fight many times! And these attacks costed him so much for the Town Portal. After TP again and again, Moon followed up the Tech upgrades, with the advantage of the Inventory, Moon won the first match. 

At last, Moon defeated Life with 2-0 and advanced to the Offline. Meanwhile, Life was dropped into Lower Bracket Final, he will face the winner between Lawliet and Sok.



The result of North and South Region Final of CSL.

 On the last Saturday, the South Region Final of CSL had been completed. Therefore, the winner from both Region was born and these two players will represent their Region to play in the Grand Final.

 The winner from North Region Huang Jia Jian(黄嘉健, Undead), who studying in Tianjin Chengjian University. At 11th May, he won his opponent with 2-0, Zhuang Xing Yu(庄兴雨, Undead) from Lianyungang Technical College.

On the other side, we had the winner, Wang Chang Peng(ice_orc, 王昌鹏, Orc) from Wuhan Technology Vocational College, and his opponent in the Regional Final, Qing Xin (青鑫, Undead) from Southwest Jiaotong University. And the final result is also 2-0 as well.


CSL is a Blizzard Games tournament which organized by NetEase and Blizzard, it is an e-sports event for college students. It aims to cultivate the teamwork spirit of young players and also provides a competitive platform for college students with e-sports dreams.



The model of Gold Mine in Reforged edition released! But why is it disappeared?

This model and picture was on the website and here is the Link: https://www.artstation.com/orb. The page is fulled of the works by a Senior 3D Environment Artist at Blizzard Entertainment, and most of the works are the Heroes of the Storm.

It's so happy to see the model from Reforged edition. However, when we went to see the website again, this picture was disappeared! Seems Blizzard wants to keep it mysterious and release the Reforged edition at once. We hope we can get the Reforged edition in this year, so please Blizzard, don't tell us "soon"...

The last day of Ro8 of H&W Masters.

Tonight, we will have the last day of Ro8 of H&W Masters, the first match is Lawliet vs Sok in the Lower Bracket Semi Final, and the winner of them will play against Life for the last ticket to the Offline event.

The game will start at 7pm (UTC+8), you wouldn't want to miss it!

Life forfeited the qualification of NeXT Spring, Lyn will replace him to play in the offline event.

On the last Saturday(18th May), Life said he wanted to give up before the game versus eer0. Luckily, after he got the advice from Infi’s wife, eer0 and other friends, Life came back to the game and won the chance to the offline tournament.

One day after, the last Sunday(19th May), Life was late to the NeXT Online Qualifier, but he was in the Top 6, so he still could be in the offline event. Somehow, when the official staff was discussing with him for buying the ticket of the venue, he refused to play once again.


Lyn won the additional game and replace Life to play in the offline event.

After all, NetEase made a decision, they let eer0 and Lyn to play an additional game, and the winner can get the chance to the offline event. The Game was started at yesterday 04:00pm (20th May, GMT+8), and Lyn won eer0 with 2:1. At last, Lyn will replace Life to play in the offline event.


Life wants to terminate the contract with Team RW.

Actually, this is not the first time that Life refused to play in the game. In 2016, the offline of Boss of Warcraft (aka 老板杯), Life was trying to leave the venue after he lost the previous game. In these few years, he also gave up the games in Douyu Cup, XiaoY Cup unreasonably a few times.


Moreover, after the case yesterday, Life said he wants to terminate the contract with Team RW (Rogue Warrior). Until now, we haven’t seen any response from Team RW, we will keep paying attention and following to this case.

Sok: Hello everyone, I am a Human player, Sok.



Q: Let's talk about your daily life. Because of your excellent dance performance, you have accumulated a lot of Chinese fans, so are you still teaching dance, or playing Warcraft III as full-time job?

Sok: Everyone seems to have misunderstood me. I am not a street dance teacher. I only taught primary school students how to stand upside down a long time ago... Nowadays I spend a lot of time for practicing Warcraft III.


Q: Recently, you won the third place in the Yule Cup, and this is your first time with excellent performance. How do you feel about this?

Sok: I am very happy to get into top three for the first time! I also did a lot of preparation and practice before the game, my effort gets paid!



Q: In fact, you were still struggling in the group stage a few months ago, and this time you reached into top three, how did you make such great progress?

Sok: As I mentioned above, the amount of practice and preparation for the game are more than usual, and I was lucky as well, the items were better than usual.



Q: You had used a few of special and interesting strategies to knocked down many famous players in this tournament. Are these tactics you think about yourself? Or is there a learning object?

Sok: In fact, LawLiet has helped me a lot, and I tried a lot of strategies when I was practicing with other race players, so I played better in this time. In addition, I also referred to the strategies and details of many other Human players, such as Infi, TH000, HawK, Chaemiko.



Q: Do you have any unique understanding of Blood Mage?

Sok: For Blood Mage, I saw Infi was using it, so I also tried to practice this hero, seems the effect is really good.



Q: Let's talk about the games. In this time, you won Moon with 3:1 in the BO5 series, but you lost to Foggy in the group stage with 0:2. There are many fans said that they were surprised about it. How do you think about them in Night vs Human? Are they having any difference? Or were you not perfect yet in the group stage?

Sok: I made some misjudgment when I was playing with Foggy, and the Foggy's offensive timing was particularly good, meanwhile, I think Foggy had the idea of ending the game in the early game, so I thought that the situation would be better after I held the attack, but in the end, I could not stop the attack. I will pay more attention to this when I play with him again in the future.



Q: Current, with the advent of the Reforged Edition, the professional e-sports system of Warcraft III has finally been established. How do you think of this? Are you considering to join a professional team?

Sok: I have been playing Warcraft III for ten years, and the news of releasing the remastered version is undoubtedly a great news, it also gave me the opportunity to play harder. For joining a team, definitely I want to join, but I just don't know if there is a chance for me.



Q: What do you think about the current balance? Do you think Human is weak? Which race do you think is the most IMBA?

Sok: I think Human is not weak, but their movement speed is slow, Human is weak in terms of operations. In addition to playing against the Orcs or Human, there are some restrictions on the strategies of fast tech and not expanding.



Q: With the outstanding performance in this time, many Chinese players and fans praise you as the future King of Human, may you talk to us about your future goals?

Sok: A King like Infi or TH000? I don't dare to be... I hope I can do my best to reach the highest standing I can be in the future.
