Colorful, Linguagua and HuG for the last Chinese spot!

This is the current Ranking of points system from Liquipedia.

Source

And we made a small table for the intensest area.

From these two table, we know that Fly100% is confirm to be in offline stage. At the same time, the last Chinese spot will most likely be the winner of Colorful and Linguagua, depends on which players can get more points in this qualifier.

Meanwhile, HuG has only a little chance. When if Colorful and Linguagua lose in Group Stage 2 and fail to be in Semi Final, and HuG could win this qualifier, which means three of them will tie with 31 points in this situation. I guess there will have an additional games for three of them.

What will happen in the last few days? Let's stay with our favourite casters and watch the games!

1. Double losses for Team RW, Infi is out from H&W.
2. The result of North and South Region Final of CSL.

4. Lego version of the Undead Base.
5. The last day of Ro8 of H&W Masters.

Double losses for Team RW, Infi is out from H&W.

In the games yesterday, the two players from Team RW, Infi and Life were defeated by their opponents separately. Yesterday, Infi was playing against eer0, and we might say eer0 was controlling the whole series. From Infi's opening, we could see that Infi was trying to stop eer0 expanding, however, eer0 knew it and changed his plan. After the changing of eer0, Infi was having bad opening in these two games, and eer0 got an easy win against Infi with 2-0.

We had Life vs Moon for the second match yesterday, and this series was telling us that how important the  experiences are in Warcraft III. In the first game on Amazonia, Life was having advantage on technology in the mid-game, he was leading on the upgrades of Attack and Armor. However, Life was too eager to attack, and he went to Moon's base to fight many times! And these attacks costed him so much for the Town Portal. After TP again and again, Moon followed up the Tech upgrades, with the advantage of the Inventory, Moon won the first match.

At last, Moon defeated Life with 2-0 and advanced to the Offline. Meanwhile, Life was dropped into Lower Bracket Final, he will face the winner between Lawliet and Sok.

The result of North and South Region Final of CSL.

On the last Saturday, the South Region Final of CSL had been completed. Therefore, the winner from both Region was born and these two players will represent their Region to play in the Grand Final.

The winner from North Region Huang Jia Jian(黄嘉健, Undead), who studying in Tianjin Chengjian University. At 11th May, he won his opponent with 2-0, Zhuang Xing Yu(庄兴雨, Undead) from Lianyungang Technical College.

On the other side, we had the winner, Wang Chang Peng(ice_orc, 王昌鹏, Orc) from Wuhan Technology Vocational College, and his opponent in the Regional Final, Qing Xin (青鑫, Undead) from Southwest Jiaotong University. And the final result is also 2-0 as well.

CSL is a Blizzard Games tournament which organized by NetEase and Blizzard, it is an e-sports event for college students. It aims to cultivate the teamwork spirit of young players and also provides a competitive platform for college students with e-sports dreams.

The model of Gold Mine in Reforged edition released! But why is it disappeared?

This model and picture was on the website and here is the Link: https://www.artstation.com/orb. The page is fulled of the works by a Senior 3D Environment Artist at Blizzard Entertainment, and most of the works are the Heroes of the Storm.

It's so happy to see the model from Reforged edition. However, when we went to see the website again, this picture was disappeared! Seems Blizzard wants to keep it mysterious and release the Reforged edition at once. We hope we can get the Reforged edition in this year, so please Blizzard, don't tell us "soon"...

Lego version of the Undead Base.

Did you see the Lego version of Warcraft III? In China, there is a Lego Player called Qin Zhao Guo (秦曌虢) made a Undead Base with Lego, let's take a look.

He also had some works of Red Alert, you may take a look on his Weibo. (Link: https://www.weibo.com/u/2416304317?refer_flag=1005055013_ )

The last day of Ro8 of H&W Masters.

Tonight, we will have the last day of Ro8 of H&W Masters, the first match is Lawliet vs Sok in the Lower Bracket Semi Final, and the winner of them will play against Life for the last ticket to the Offline event.

The game will start at 7pm (UTC+8), you wouldn't want to miss it!

Yesterday, 2019 Blizzard E-sports initiative conference had been finished. On the first day, Keke summarized the tournaments next year after the conference. However, she found out that she might misunderstand, NetEase is going to create a larger system for Warcraft III.

So, we are going to read the content again. This preview is so important, I hope all of you can read it patiently.

In 2019, we will have four tournaments: WGL, City tour, CLS, SLS

Professional WGL

The previous WGL will be upgraded to Professional WGL, and twice for each year, and the location will be in Shanghai, Yangpu District, B.link Studio

World Golden League~~Upgraded~~World Golden Professional League

NetEase is attaching importance to this tournaments. E-sports director, IRIS said: When we were talking about WCG, we would say that was a largest tournament for Warcraft III. And now, we are going to make WGL become a similar tournamemt.

The tournament will be upgraded to be like WCS in Starcraft II, whether prizes, propaganda, or representation of players, they will try to learn from the popular E-sports games, and make China as a center of Warcraft III.

We will have 16 players to be in Professional WGL, they will be 6 Chinese, 4 Korean, 3 Americans and 3 Europeans. However, the number and ratio of the players may be change, this depends on the situation of the related division and region.

For China, the players have to get the points to get into WGL, they can get the points from tournaments, ladder, games in the seasons, basically these are same as this year.

City tour

In the article yesterday, we said about the Singles (Single Competition) and the Club Sompetition (Or we may call it as Team Matches, Team Competition, etc.)

Wuhan, Xi'an, Chengdu, Beijing will be the stations for city tour.

According to the information we got today, the begin of City tour will be China vs World, this is similar to the clan war between China vs Europe in Hearthstone, and this game will be the celebration of the return of Warcraft III.

For singles, the normal gamers are allowed to register and play on the stage, and this is the stage for them, if they could knock down the professional players on the stage, this would be the chance to become a famous player.

CSL

Warcraft III is included by CSL (College Star League), so we will have a selection tournament in the college. Of course, the player who get the championship will get the scholarship for the 4 years study fees

Furthermore, they have a plan of recruit the new commentator in CSL, you can register here if you want to become a Warcraft III caster and commentator. Meanwhile, they will treat you as an entertainment host, so you will be on a good stage and you will get a lot of chances, if you want to become a caster, you may start your practice now.

SLS

"Fight for your province" is a classical event of Hearthstone, Warcraft III is included to this event too!

According to the situation of  Hearthstone in the last few years, this is also an opportunity for the "Tier 2" or "Tier 3" players to turn into famous players. Generally, the great professional players will not join this game when they have enough points, so the skillful amateur players will join the selection for their own province and region, and the players who get the first place and second place will go to the battle against other region.

We still have to wait for the details from SLS, like which provinces and regions are able to join this event.

After we read this overview, you may realize that this is a very completed system, we have battle between the greatest players, and the system also provide the opportunity to the "Tier 2 and 3" players. In 2019, we have 2 professional tournaments, 4 times for City tour, a Grand Finals for CSL, and SLS that is still in the progress, and these are the official tournament.

So, what are you waiting for? If you are the player on the ladder, coma and play in the games!

After we saw plan from the NetEase and the clubs, War3station will provide the resources to train and grow the new players if we have the chance, we turn your support to become the momentum of the Warcraft III.

Will the tournament be similar like WCG?
Let's wait and see!
