Following WGL Winter 2018, we had an interview with the champion. Moon's answer to the problems of balance in patch 1.30 was very different from Foggy's in his recent interview. Let's look at what Moon said in his interview.

Q: Hi, Moon, thank you for accepting our invitation for this interview. Would you like to greet your fans?
M: Hi, everyone, I am Moon, Jang Jae-Ho[1]. I am happy to be here.

[1]*Note from translator: Jang is Moon's surname, following the standard East Asian formulation of names.

Q: In this tournament you became champion by only dropping 2 maps. What is your opinion about this?
M: In the previous WGL I was always eliminated in Group Stage, so before the start of this tournament, I set my target to advancing to the playoffs. After that, I was just taking it one step at a time. I felt confident after I got first place in the Group Stage. In general, I think this was a successful tournament for me, from the Group Stage to the Final. The result was unexpected for me, too. I felt really happy after becoming champion.

Q: What is your opinion about patch 1.30?
M: Before I played patch 1.30, I didn't know that Night Elf was that strong. Everyone says that Night Elf was over-buffed in this patch, and I agree with this. In order to balance the game, I think Blizzard should nerf Night Elf.

Q: What is your opinion on Foggy? He said his dream was to be a Night Elf player of your class.  Do you think he can achieve this dream?
M: First of all, I have to say thank you to Foggy, for rating me so high. With his result in WGL, he has been recognized as a powerful player. I think he has a very good understanding of how to play Night Elf.
I expect that Foggy can surpass me and achieve his dreams, and of course I will myself keep playing hard.

Q: Reforged Edition will be available next year, and we are going to have a total of 5 Millions Yuan in prize pools. What are your thoughts on these developments?
M:  The increasing of the prize pools is good news for the players, and I hope the Reforged Edition will help us have a second peak for RTS games.

Q: There will be a clan competition next year, too. Your fans are wondering about your choice of team. Have you chosen yet? If you choose to join a Chinese team, will you be living in China?
M: I am in talks with a lot of teams, but I haven't made my choice yet. I hope I could share any news with you very soon. Unfortunately, I don't have plans to live in China for now, but I may have short stays in China during the tournaments.

Q: Could you share a little bit about your daily life? Besides Warcraft III, do you have other job? Will you start streaming in future again?
M: Except for playing Warcraft III, I exercise in order to maintain my physical strength. I am also studying foreign languages. Regarding streaming, I am still considering and preparing.

Q: Thank you for having this interview with us. Before we conclude, do you have some last words for your fans?
M: Thank you for your support and for your love throughout the year. 2018 is almost over, so I wish everyone a happy ending of the year, and I wish you prosperity in your work and life for next year!
