After a few weekends, finally we have the Top 8 of WCG Chinese qualifier, the winners advanced to the Regional Final and they will play with Round Robin, (Bo1)Best of one. The Top 2 players will advance to the WCG main event in Xi’an.

 Sorry I changed my strategy again.

 The first semi-final was unfolded between Lawliet and Lyn. While the Orcs are constantly developing new strategies, like Shadow Hunter and Pit Lord combo, the Night Elves is constantly improving at the same time. In this series, Lawliet chose to play with double Ancients of War and Huntresses. He slowed down his expansion but he kept suppressing on Lyn, and this let Lyn suffering in the game.
In the first set of LR, Lawliet hid from the Blade Master in the early stage, and then, the Keeper of the Grove stole the Creep Camp beside the Gold Mine near the Orc and he reached level 3 very soon. After Lawliet upgraded Tier 2 tech, his troops were everywhere. Meanwhile, the troops made the Shadow Hunter did not dare to go out to leveling before the Shaman army was formed. Lyn also scouted for the Lawliet’s expansion all the time. However, Lawliet built the base at a very strange position, and he cleverly fooled his opponent’s eyes and ears.
In the mid game, Lawliet sense that Lyn’s creeping and he went for a creep jack. Lyn was completely surround by the Huntresses. And Lawliet even grabbed the Zeppelin. After the Shadow Hunter was killed, Lawliet was having a very huge advantage, and he even had a Zeppelin show. What a terrible game for Lyn.

In the second set on TR, Lyn finally recovered got back this familiar timing. The Far Seer and TC combo was unstoppable. In the second set of LR, it’s the same story as the first one. Even worse, eer0 missed a few Death Coil in the fight. This mistake directly led to the loss. After Moon’s clever and good fight, eer0 lost the series. Since the patch 1.30, eer0 still hasn’t win a single series on Moon.

WGL European will be continued today, Foggy drops to the Lower Bracket!

Yesterday night, we had the WGL European Qualifier, and Happy finally played in WGL again. Meanwhile, Foggy was defeated in the first round and dropped into the Lower Bracket.

 According to the news from War3station, Foggy is ranking 11th with 25 points at the current standings of WGL points system. He is playing like Remind, he always go to attack his opponent like a coming huge wave. It's why Life often let his opponents catch off guard. The games yesterday were also the same. In the first set on TM, with the advantage of Spawn Positions, Life creep the Mercenary Camp and he kept the suppression on Lawliet. After the surround and kill of Alchemist, Life has completely seen the victory. Double losses for Team RW, Infi is out from H&W.

In the games yesterday, the two players from Team RW, Infi and Life were defeated by their opponents separately. Yesterday, Infi was playing against eer0, and we might say eer0 was controlling the whole series. From Infi's opening, we could see that Infi was trying to stop eer0 expanding, however, eer0 knew it and changed his plan. After the changing of eer0, Infi was having bad opening in these two games, and eer0 got an easy win against Infi with 2-0.


We had Life vs Moon for the second match yesterday, and this series was telling us that how important the  experiences are in Warcraft III. In the first game on Amazonia, Life was having advantage on technology in the mid-game, he was leading on the upgrades of Attack and Armor. However, Life was too eager to attack, and he went to Moon's base to fight many times! And these attacks costed him so much for the Town Portal. After TP again and again, Moon followed up the Tech upgrades, with the advantage of the Inventory, Moon won the first match. 

At last, Moon defeated Life with 2-0 and advanced to the Offline. Meanwhile, Life was dropped into Lower Bracket Final, he will face the winner between Lawliet and Sok.



The result of North and South Region Final of CSL.

 On the last Saturday, the South Region Final of CSL had been completed. Therefore, the winner from both Region was born and these two players will represent their Region to play in the Grand Final.

 The winner from North Region Huang Jia Jian(黄嘉健, Undead), who studying in Tianjin Chengjian University. At 11th May, he won his opponent with 2-0, Zhuang Xing Yu(庄兴雨, Undead) from Lianyungang Technical College.

On the other side, we had the winner, Wang Chang Peng(ice_orc, 王昌鹏, Orc) from Wuhan Technology Vocational College, and his opponent in the Regional Final, Qing Xin (青鑫, Undead) from Southwest Jiaotong University. And the final result is also 2-0 as well.


CSL is a Blizzard Games tournament which organized by NetEase and Blizzard, it is an e-sports event for college students. It aims to cultivate the teamwork spirit of young players and also provides a competitive platform for college students with e-sports dreams.

It's so happy to see the model from Reforged edition. However, when we went to see the website again, this picture was disappeared! Seems Blizzard wants to keep it mysterious and release the Reforged edition at once. We hope we can get the Reforged edition in this year, so please Blizzard, don't tell us "soon"...
